I am so grateful for writing communities that give my creativity and motivation a boost! Last week I was lucky enough to attend AWP in Philadelphia, where I connected with The Writing Institute at Sarah Lawrence College director Courtney Gillette. I also enjoyed a fabulous reading at the A Novel Idea bookshop which featured amazing writers like Patricia Dunn and Kathy Curto. I also had the chance to sample cheesesteak and a “Dutch Baby” at The Dutch Philly, and to visit my “book baby” at Barnes & Noble Rittenhouse! It was such a wonderful writer-filled getaway!
